Bangalore at Night

Somehow, even with as crazy as the days have been here (evident by my lack of updating), sitting and watching Bangalore at night is so peaceful and calming. Yes, it's 1:30am here and I am still up. I could sit and stare out the open window all night.

The first couple of days in the office have been very long and very tiring. There is so much to do and a month, though a long time in some aspects, is not that long to train 3 new people. Especially when I have my own work to get done and have to live on other people's schedules. (which is a frustrating thing to do even when I am not stressed out!) I know after a few days things will calm down.. as much as they can in a city like Bangalore anyway :)

The one thing I do have to mention is the security. As much as I understand why they have put so many changes into place, (every hotel now has a metal detector & security you must pass through to enter) it's extremely frustrating to watch a flawed system. If you are going to do it, do it right. I sat at breakfast this morning and watched the security guard stop everyone that came in and go through their bags. Then two minutes later, I look down and the security guard is gone, no where to be found. A few minutes later he returned.. but not before at least 5 people had entered the building... it defiantly makes you wonder. It's hard to watch a city you fell in love with change so much in 6 short months.

That's really all I have to say for now, my brain is already starting to shut down :)
Good Night

Sammie thanks for telling me about the security. Not only do you have to watch out for Vampires (lol) but now you might have them sneaking in.
*I hope your having fun....not to much ...

xoxoxo

Hi there...
well, hopefully this will work for me. I heard that you changed hotels already.Does the new hotel also have 'security'?.
How far is it from the hotel to the office? I could not imagine riding in a cab with a driver not knowing where the heck he is to drive to...That would really freak me out.
take care of yourself....stay healthy.....
we all miss you here...
